Privacy Policy

How we handle personal data and the client information our partner firms entrust to us.

Who we are

WhiteLedgers Partners (a brand of SAC Strategic Partners) provides white-label bookkeeping and back-office support to accounting firms and businesses in the United States, the United Kingdom and the UAE. For the client data we process on your behalf, your firm is the data controller and WhiteLedgers acts as a data processor.

What we collect

• Business contact data you provide via our site, email, WhatsApp or phone (name, firm, email, phone, message).
• Client engagement data you share to perform the work — accounting records, transactions and supporting documents within your QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho Books or secure file transfer.
• Limited website analytics (if enabled) to understand site usage. We do not sell personal data.

How we use it

Solely to respond to enquiries, scope and deliver the services you engage us for, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use your clients' data for any purpose other than delivering your engagement.

How we protect it

NDA before access, multi-factor authentication on every login, least-privilege accountant-role access, encrypted connections, and no local storage of client data — all work happens inside your own systems, under your own audit trail. Our handling is aligned to IRS Publication 4557 (US) and UK GDPR & the Data Protection Act 2018. See the Security & privacy section for the full picture.

International transfers

We operate from India and process data for US, UK and UAE engagements. Where required, transfers are governed by a Data Processing Agreement with appropriate safeguards (including UK GDPR Article 46 mechanisms).

Retention

We retain client engagement data only for the duration of the engagement plus any period required by law or your instructions, after which it is deleted or returned. Access is revoked within 24 hours of an engagement ending — or the moment you revoke it yourself.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR/DPA 2018 and applicable law you (and, via your firm, data subjects) may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal data. Requests are actioned through the controlling firm; contact us at hello@whiteledgers.com.
